My Story
Emily Radzio is an artist and graduate applicant whose creative journey is defined by a deep fascination with the intersection of archival aesthetics and modern minimalism. Her work explores the tactile nature of recycled paper and the quiet intimacy of brutalist interiors, where every stroke is a deliberate conversation between the hand and the material. Beyond the studio, Emily finds inspiration in the rhythmic patterns of nature and the tactile textures of raw canvas, which she translates into a series of physical art postcards that invite the viewer into a serene, nostalgic world. Her diverse hobbies—from the meticulous process of hand-pressing paper to the quiet contemplation of light in a sun-drenched art studio—serve as the foundation for a creative vision that is both professional and ethereal. This narrative is a testament to the pursuit of a life that is as tactile as it is intellectual, where every project is a step toward a graduate school application that celebrates the artisanal and the modern.
